Our operations span North America with over 28,000 employees at close to 1,600 locations in 43 US States and 2 Canadian provinces.Position OverviewA part of the global diversified building products group, CRH, Americas Materials is currently recruiting for the position of FP&A Senior Manager within the Corporate Finance team based in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely analysis of industry and market activities as well as other financial duties and analytic support to the Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis. This is a key position within CRH Americas Materials finance and will receive significant exposure to senior CRH management teams.Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)Analyze economic, industry and peer information for trend and comparison analysis.Provide actionable analytics including SWOT, competitive trends that drive consumer demands, preferences, and behavior based on market data.Create reports and visualizations to present data insights to the marketing team and senior management.Identify the latest tools and/or software to establish a centralized workflow to measure and forecast consumer behavior, patterns, and relevant trends.Apply machine learning and predictive modeling techniques to forecast marketing outcomes.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and marketing strategies.Other duties as directed.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Education/ExperienceBachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related fieldMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, construction or related industryExpert proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and HyperionMBA or CPA desirableWork RequirementsMust have expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookMust have basic experience in Power BI and/or TableauMust be 18 years in age or olderMust pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkStrict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee HandbookWillingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as requiredMust be willing to travel and work away from home when requiredKnowledge/Skill RequirementsDemonstrate a hands-on, collaborative approach and work well in a teamDeep knowledge of marketing strategies, branding, and channelsAdvanced analytical skills with a high attention to detailBe action oriented and driven for resultsDemonstrate strong, oral/written communication and listening skillsAsk good questions to get at root cause of problemsHave strong planning and organizing skillsAbility to deliver on time and under tight deadlinesBe able to deal with ambiguity and facilitate changeCustomer service orientated attitudeDemonstrate strong technical and functional abilities in all areas of financial analysisPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this jobAble to communicate with others by telephone and in personAble to utilize a computer for word processing, email communication, and preparation of documents and presentationsMay require sitting for extended periods of timeWork EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this jobUsually, normal office working conditions.
