A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nephrologist to join their growing team at one of their facilities in the Bronx.About the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: 9am to 5pmSetting: Mix of Inpatient & Outpatient dutiesCall: Rotated (1:3 pager weekday pages; 1:4 weekend onsite)Responsibilities:Diagnose and treat kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and end-stage renal diseaseConduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testsManage patients on dialysisConduct office visits for follow-up care, medication management, and patient educationHandle hospital rounding and admissions for nephrology patientsRound at dialysis centers to monitor treatment progress and address patient concernsPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)Completion of Nephrology FellowshipBoard Certification / Eligibility in NephrologyNYS medical licenseStrong clinical skills and excellent bedside mannerYour privacy is important to us.
