Akkodis is seeking a Director of Quality Contro for a position with a client located in Dallas, Texas . Pay/Salary Range:160k to 170kQualifications:Education and Experience:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Technology, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 12+ years of professional work experience in IT Audit or Risk Management.Certifications (Preferred):PMP, ITIL, Identity Certifications, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or other relevant certifications.Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Expertise in identifying and assessing business processes and IT risks, and designing audit plans.Strong knowledge of SOX, HIPAA principles, and industry best practices.Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.Experience working with Managed Services Partners (onshore and offshore).Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio; familiarity with audit tools is a plus.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong background in cross-departmental collaboration and influencing outcomes through teamwork.We are seeking a highly experienced IT Audit and Risk Manager to lead and execute various audit tasks, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and enhance process optimization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive audit efficiency and program effectiveness.Key Responsibilities: with Cybersecurity Audit and Review Execution:Conduct User Access Reviews across all layers of the organization.Perform Termination Testing to ensure compliance and security.Execute Full Access Reviews, Privileged Access Reviews, Password Reviews (System Parameter/Configuration Settings), and Generic Account Reviews.Lead Change Management Reviews.IT General Controls Evaluation:Assess IT General Controls (ITGC) for areas such as user access, information security, system development life cycle (SDLC), change management, physical security, data backup/recovery, business continuity, and risk exposures.Perform Financial Reporting Control (SOX) testing and documentation.Process Optimization and Planning:Conduct current state assessments and develop strategic plans for future state, including process transformation and optimization.Participate in annual budget planning and develop business cases to support program enhancements.Audit Action Plans and Reporting:Develop and oversee the execution of Audit Management Action Plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.Create automated dashboards to track program effectiveness and provide reporting to executives.Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication:Work closely with Internal Audit teams to align processes and testing outcomes.Act as the single point of contact for External Auditors, providing leadership and ensuring seamless communication.Maintain comprehensive documentation of deliverables, procedures, and system-specific knowledge.Team Leadership and Development:Act as a primary liaison for technology and business teams, serving as an escalation point for issues.Provide effective leadership by guiding, coaching, and motivating team members.Develop career paths and growth opportunities for team members and resolve conflicts.Oversee performance management for direct reports.If you are interested in this Director of Quality Control job in Dallas, Texas then please click APPLY NOW.For other opportunities available at Akkodis go to .
