Work location: Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX; Hillsboro, ORA client of Insight Global's is seeking an experienced cybersecurity engineering Sr. Director with a proven track record in managing and directing complex on-prem and cloud security initiatives. As the Leader in the Cybersecurity organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving our security transformation, evaluate security controls and identify opportunities to enhance the security posture, build or manage enterprise security capabilities effectively. You are strategic and forward-thinking, with the ability to guide and mentor a high-performing team. Communicate effectively across all levels of management to articulate vision and direction.What You'll Be Doing:Lead and oversee the cybersecurity engineering team, focusing on developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies.Drive the design and deployment of security engineering for cloud, network, endpoint, mobile, cloud, IAM, email, and data security.Deliver foundational and strategic security engineering solutions and programs to extend on-prem capabilities into multi-cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.Stay informed of the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to proactively address potential vulnerabilities.Develop and manage the cybersecurity budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers and business partners to integrate data security into all phases of system development and deployment.Develop security policies, standards, and procedures to establish a strong cybersecurity foundation.Increase efficiency and usability of security tools through automation and integration.Align with security architecture process that enables the enterprise to develop and implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology, and threat drivers.Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices to advise on improvements.The Impact You Will Have:Your leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our cybersecurity posture and protecting critical assets.
