This role is based in Los Angeles and requires someone who's not only a master of editing and graphic design but also understands the art of storytelling, videography, and social media engagement. Plus, you must be ready to travel as we take our show on the road!What You'll Do:Podcast ProductionEdit long-form podcast episodes into polished audio/video productions with engaging intros, outros, and seamless transitions.Enhance audio quality, balance levels, and eliminate noise to create a professional sound.Short-Form & Social Content CreationCreate eye-catching short clips (Produce mid-length videos (3-10 minutes) for YouTube and other platforms, with engaging captions and on-brand graphics.Graphic Design & BrandingDesign scroll-stopping thumbnails, social media posts, and promotional assets.Maintain and evolve the visual identity of Beyond the Records across all platforms.Videography & On-Set ProductionOperate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for podcast shoots and additional content.Set up on-location shoots with expertise in lighting and framing to ensure the highest quality visuals.Content Strategy & CollaborationWork with hosts and the production team to brainstorm creative ideas and storytelling strategies.Stay ahead of trends and innovations in podcasting and social media.What We're Looking For:Experience: Experienceworking on successful podcasts prior. Proficient in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).Skills: Strong knowledge of camera operation, lighting techniques, and audio equipment. Bonus: Motion graphics expertise (After Effects).Creative Vision: A sharp eye for visual storytelling and an ability to craft compelling narratives for various platforms.Social Savvy: Deep understanding of social media trends, especially in short-form video.Adaptability: Willingness to travel and a knack for thriving in fast-paced environments.Location: Must be based in Los Angeles.
