Summary:The Financial Planning & Asset/Liability Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business performance improvements by collaborating with key stakeholders, including senior management, as a subject matter expert in financial analysis, planning, and asset/liability management for the bank and holding company. The Finance organization leads and contributes to several essential functions, including supporting executive decision-making, analyzing results, assessing strategic alternatives, and developing strategic plans.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and manage the financial planning process, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.Recommend operational strategies and plans that directly impact the bank's financial outcomes.Develop business cases using financial forecast models and challenge assumptions that influence functional results.Conduct thorough financial analysis through primary and secondary research to identify business trends, financial performance, and competitor developments.Analyze and monitor key issues affecting profitability, growth, and productivity across various business units.Prepare monthly financial reporting under US GAAP for senior leadership, covering the consolidated entity and all reporting segments.Develop standardized financial and operational reports, including key metrics and dashboards, for distribution to executive management and internal stakeholders.Translate detailed accounting data into actionable analytics for business decision-making.Evaluate and manage the bank's financial risks, including liquidity and interest rate risks, and propose effective risk management strategies.Contribute to the design, calibration, and maintenance of internal liquidity management metrics, including Early Warning Indicators.Assist in the development and upkeep of the Liquidity Stress Testing model and Cash-flow Forecasting framework.Responsible for the modeling, analysis, and reporting of the bank's interest rate risk position, including NII and EVE analysis, back-testing, and stress testing.Contribute to ALCO reporting on liquidity, interest rates, and capital management.Respond to regulatory and auditor inquiries related to financial planning and asset/liability management.
