Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a leading organization to find a skilled and experienced Data Architect to lead data architecture initiatives and manage a team of data engineers using Microsoft Azure and related technologies. This role focuses on designing scalable and secure data systems while driving team success and collaboration. This role offers a competitive salary of up to $168,000 depending on experience.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign and Implement Data Architecture:Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture strategy using Microsoft Azure.Design data models, database schemas, and data warehouses to meet business needs.Ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.Data Management:Oversee data integration, migration, and quality initiatives.Implement and manage data governance policies.Monitor and optimize data systems for performance and scalability.Team Leadership:Manage and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts.Assign tasks, set goals, and ensure project milestones are achieved.Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Collaboration and Communication:Partner with business stakeholders to understand data requirements.Translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.Present data architecture plans and updates to executive teams.Security and Compliance:Ensure data security and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Implement data privacy measures and access controls.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Certifications:Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer).Experience:8+ years of experience in data architecture and management.5+ years in a managerial role.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics).Expertise in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies.Experience with data science and enterprise data modeling (e.g., star schemas, data warehouses).Soft Skills:Strong leadership and team management capabilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.BenefitsHybrid (In-office 2-3 days a week)Comprehensive medical plans with HSA and FSA options.Generous 401(k) plan with immediate company match (100% vested).Dental and vision insurance.Short-term and long-term disability plans (available after one year).Company-provided life insurance and AD&D with supplemental buy-up options.Paid time off and holidays.Weekly pay for added convenience.This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects while working with cutting-edge technology.
