DTC Inventory Planner

Our client, a well-known apparel brand in San Francisco, is looking for a DTC Inventory Planner to join their team for a 6 month contract! Please note, this role will work a hybrid schedule with 3 day a week onsite.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Director of Merchandise Planning, helping to build department financial plans and working to balance channel, brand, and business needsDevelop financial forecasts in-season and contribute to regular financial conversations with a diverse set of business partners. Help create a narrative and articulate risks and opportunitiesCollaborate with merchants to develop consumer and category segment productivity targets within an assortment architectureBuild and present bottom-up sales and inventory plans. Reconcile against the top-down financial plans to inform financial and inventory decisionsAlign with planning leads and business partners to guide in-season tactical activities in execution of season strategies: promotional strategies, markdown management, etc.Work with allocation partners to ensure optimal in-season allocation, replenishment, consumption, and receipt flowManage in-season profitability to achieve or exceed goals and submissionsIdentify opportunities in, and improve, processes and toolsParticipate in additional projects that support channel and company plansRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field3+ years of planning experienceExceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with a diverse team both in person and hybridAnalytic abilities; can use analysis to help shape stories.
