Community Relations CoordinatorOrganization: Location: New York, NYType: Full-time/Part-timeAbout Us:Company Overview: is a national 501(c)(3) financial grant program that helps couples/individuals (regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, marital status or sexual orientation) with the cost of their adoptions by awarding grants up to $30,000. supports domestic, international and foster care adoptions and does not charge its applicants to apply.Position Overview: is seeking a full-time, entrepreneurial, self-starter who is motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about making an impact. The Community Relations Coordinator will play a vital role in expanding our outreach efforts by building awareness and education within the adoption community and beyond. This newly developed position is key to fostering relationships with diverse community groups, enhancing communication, and ensuring strong connections between the organization and its supporters. The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer, effective communicator, and highly skilled in managing databases and tracking outreach efforts. A background in PR and marketing is a plus.Key Responsibilities:Community Relations:Build and maintain relationships with diverse community groups, including:Adoption professionalsIVF professionalsLGBT groups and centersSingle-parent groupsReligious organizationsInitiate outreach efforts and engage in personal conversations with these groups to educate and update them about .Identify and explore additional community categories for potential outreach initiatives.Donor Engagement:Foster strong, ongoing grassroots communication with donors to reinforce the impact of their contributions.Develop and implement initiatives to increase donor engagement, including:Social Media AmbassadorsPeer-to-Peer CampaignsNYC Marathon TeamTech and Experience Requirements:3 or more years of experience in community relations, public relations, marketing, or a related field preferredProficiency in managing and tracking outreach efforts through database management.Strong technical skills, including familiarity with social media platforms, CRM tools, and digital marketing strategies.Familiarity with a variety of social media platforms.Familiarity with gmail suite and add-onsExcellent organizational and writing skills with a strong attention to detailWhat We Offer:CompensationSalary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.Status: Exempt Location: This is a hybrid position, with a requirement that the professional in this role work out of the Manhattan-based office 3-4 days a week dependent on the organization's needs.Excellent benefit package including:· Health, Dental and Vision benefits, partial coverage· Vacation and Sick Leave· Commuter benefits· 401k program· HSA and FSA accounts· HealthAdvocate, One Medical, Teladoc · Discounted gym membershipsIf you are passionate about helping others and want to contribute to a meaningful cause, we would love to hear from you.
