CST has partnered with a Miami plaintiff's law firm to recruit an experienced litigation Associate to join a boutique firm. The position will report to the lead attorney and work directly on complex commercial litigation matters.This position is ideal for someone who wants to leave a defense firm, forget about the billable hours, and fast-track their litigation experience.You also have to be self-sufficient and able to figure out a lot of issues on your own. Your responsibilities will include:Taking and defending depositionsConducting discoveryLegal researchDrafting and arguing motionsFrequent court appearancesCase managementClient communicationsRequirements:5 years of experience (minimum)Experience in commercial litigationStrong work ethicStrong academic credentialsOrganizational, research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to prioritize and handle urgent tasksAdmission to the Florida Bar
