We're partnering with a global management consulting firm to help them identify and hire an experienced Director of Compensation and Benefits to lead the strategic and operational aspects of its total rewards programs. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role, heavily focused on compensation strategy and execution, with additional oversight of benefits administration. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, requiring a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office with some flexibility to be onsite based on business requirements.Role Responsibilities:Compensation Strategy & Managemento Develop and manage global compensation programs, including salary structures, annual merit cycles, incentive plans, and equity-based programs.o Conduct market analyses to ensure salary bands remain competitive and aligned with industry benchmarks.o Oversee partner-level compensation, including equity considerations and market pricing for new practices.o Lead multiple annual compensation processes, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely execution.Benefits Oversighto Support benefits program strategy, partnering with a newly hired Benefits Manager and leveraging external brokers for optimization.o Collaborate with global teams to align regional benefits offerings while balancing employee needs and cost management.o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and oversee open enrollment processes.Team Leadership & Mentorshipo Supervise and mentor a growing team, including a Lead Compensation Analyst and a Benefits Manager, in addition to growing the team over time.o Act as a resource and coach for team members, providing guidance on technical and strategic initiatives.Technology & Process Improvemento Utilize advanced HRIS systems, particularly Workday, to optimize compensation workflows and reporting.o Partner with HRIS teams during ongoing system transformation efforts to ensure seamless integration and updates.Key Qualifications:7-10 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits leadership, with at least 3+ years in a management role.Proven expertise in global compensation management, including incentive and equity programs.Experience with benefits program design and vendor management, particularly for organizations with 1,000+ employees.Strong proficiency in Excel and data analytics, with a hands-on approach to compensation modeling and auditing.Familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS platforms; involvement in system transformation projects is a plus.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise senior leaders and drive change.Preferred Background:Experience in organizations with annual revenues of $500M+ and a global footprint.Knowledge of compensation practices in large markets such as The Americas, EMEA, and APAC.Exposure to industries such as professional services, Big 4 consulting, or other high-performing organizations.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, CEBS) and experience managing compensation for multiple regional offices.Compensation & Benefits:Base Salary: $135-170KTarget Bonus: 20% targetAdditional Benefits: Flexible time-off policy, health benefits administered via leading providers, retirement plan, and supplemental coverage.Company Overview:The firm operates with a lean, high-performing team and supports approximately 1,200-1,500 employees globally, with major hubs in The Americas, EMEA and APAC.
