FarmboxRx delivers customizable member engagement programs via food solutions that support sustainable, scalable, and long-lasting quality outcomes for Members and Healthcare Organizations.SummaryFarmboxRx is seeking an experienced and dynamic Communications Manager to lead and oversee our social media and public relations strategies, with a significant emphasis on LinkedIn. This role requires prior LinkedIn management experience and an understanding of industry trends, particularly within healthcare and social determinants of health. Reporting to the Director of Brand, the Communications Manager will work cross-functionally with the B2B Marketing and Creative teams to craft compelling narratives, build brand visibility, and amplify FarmboxRx's mission and leadership in the healthcare space.The Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in driving communication strategies across digital and traditional channels while maintaining a consistent voice and brand message. This position involves heavy writing responsibilities, ensuring all external-facing communications"”ranging from press releases to thought leadership content"”are strategic, impactful, and aligned with business objectives.The ideal candidate is a proactive, creative, and results-driven communicator with exceptional writing skills, a proven track record in PR and social media management, and a passion for driving engagement and awareness in a fast-paced, purpose-driven organization.Responsibilities:Oversee the development and execution of FarmboxRx's social media strategy, with a primary focus on LinkedIn, to build engagement, amplify brand visibility, and drive thought leadership in the healthcare space.Collaborate with B2B Marketing and Creative teams to develop cohesive and strategic content that aligns with brand messaging and business goals.Directly manage and execute public relations initiatives, including crafting press releases, media outreach, and securing placements to elevate brand reputation and awareness.Write and edit high-quality, compelling communications, including blog posts, articles, press materials, email newsletters, and executive thought leadership pieces.Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for FarmboxRx to position itself as a leader in healthcare and nutrition solutions.Analyze and report on the performance of communication strategies, providing data-driven insights to optimize messaging and content delivery.Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to drive positive media coverage.Collaborate with leadership to align communications strategies with the company's mission and values, ensuring consistency across all platforms.Manage the content calendar for social media and PR, ensuring timely and relevant delivery of messaging.Act as a brand steward, ensuring tone, messaging, and visuals are consistent with FarmboxRx's positioning and strategic priorities.Competencies· Proven expertise in managing and growing LinkedIn channels with a strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and analytics.· 4+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or social media management, preferably within healthcare, nutrition, or a related industry.· Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, engaging content.· Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.· Demonstrated experience managing PR campaigns and securing positive media coverage.· Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate with senior leadership.· Knowledge of industry trends, particularly healthcare, social determinants of health (SDOH), and nutrition solutions.· Proficiency in analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on the success of social media and PR campaigns.· Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.· Passion for FarmboxRx's mission to improve health outcomes through accessible nutrition solutions.As the Communications Manager at FarmboxRx, you will play a critical role in amplifying our story, engaging our audiences, and positioning us as a thought leader in healthcare innovation.
