Only qualified applicants should apply.Role Description: HR-Office AdminThe HR-Office Admin will manage the company's human resources operations and support office administration functions to ensure organizational success. This role includes overseeing onboarding, employee training, compliance, benefits management, and personnel records, while collaborating with other departments to maintain compliance with HR laws and standards. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and dedicated to fostering a positive work environment. Bilingual in Spanish is required.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Management· Manage all aspects of human resources to build and maintain HR systems.· Develop and implement employee onboarding and career path checklists.· Track and maintain accurate personnel records and databases, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local HR laws and regulations.· Oversee the employee onboarding process for new hires and ensure smooth integration into the company.· Writing and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Employee Relations and Development· Monitor and enhance the employee evaluation system, ensuring bi-annual performance reviews.· Create and implement employee training programs to strengthen skills and leverage career opportunities.· Develop strategies for job functions, accountability, performance expectations, and career path development.· Lead company-wide meetings between supervisors and employees to foster communication and alignment.· Organize recognition programs, events, and employee committees to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.· Coordinate and schedule safety trainingTalent Acquisition and Retention· Enhance recruiting programs, including internship opportunities, employee benefits, and health programs.· Formalize employee review and discipline documentation.· Develop programs to attract and retain top talent, ensuring competitive benefits and recognition.Benefits Management· Manage relationships with health insurance providers, including soliciting and evaluating benefit performance.· Oversee employee benefits, including health insurance and 401k programs.· Standardize compensation packages for out-of-town assignments and housing for traveling employees.Compliance and Legal Oversight· Maintain a working knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local HR laws or regulations.· Lead Department of Labor audits, self-performance audits, and compliance reviews with accounting and legal counsel.· Standardize offer letters, employment agreements, and compensation packages.Strategic HR Initiatives· Implement strategies for creating and managing an internal "university" to develop employee skills and career progression.· Join HR associations, attend workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay informed on the latest HR trends and practices.Qualifications and SkillsRequired:· Proven experience in human resources, preferably in the construction industry.· Strong understanding of Federal, State, and local HR laws and regulations.· Proficiency in HR systems and personnel databases.· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.· Strong written and verbal communication skills.· Bilingual in SpanishPreferred:· Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.· Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent.· Experience with benefits management and labor audits.Wage & BenefitsThis is a full-time hourly position with Competitive payHourly range: $20.00+/hour (commensurate with experience)Health Insurance/ Paid time offTo ensure the safety and well-being of all employees, this position may require occasional lifting, twisting, and sitting at a desk for extended periods.
