The Firm is rapidly growing Law Firm that has gained reputation to represent individuals in removal proceedings. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site/ hybrid role for an Experienced Immigration Associate Attorney at AH LAW FIRM, PLLC located in Queens, NY. The Immigration Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing and handling a caseload of immigration matters, representing clients in immigration proceedings, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing legal advice and guidance to clients. The Associate attorney must have experience in handling Immigration Court hearings, including Individual and Master Hearings. Trainings will be provided to candidates having interest in removal defense. QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from an accredited law schoolAdmission to any State BarExperience in Handling Master and Individual Hearings in Immigration Court Legal research, writing and draftingAt least 3 years of experience practicing immigration lawStrong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and regulationsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with clients from diverse backgroundsFluency in a second language, preferably in Spanish is a plusExperience with immigration court appearances and USCIS interviews is a plus
