Quality/ Test Engineer 4

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Quality/ Test Engineer 4 in Lafayette, IN. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $53/hr W2 + overtime pay, including full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, and 401K. Cullerton Group will provide H1B Sponsorship.Position's Contributions to Work GroupFacilitate and develop new elements of APQP including process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagramsReason/motivation for requestAdditional roles, new to the organization to focus on capital investment and risk mitigation for large engine investmentsWe have announced expansion plans as well as significant capital spending to increase our capacity. This role is key to development of world class processes and risk mitigationTypical task breakdown:Weekly staff and prioritization meetingsFacilitate the development of APQP documentation including, but not limited to process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagramsSupport and tracking of recommended action from the process FMEAsIndependent scheduling and leading APQP readiness meetings with manufacturing engineering teamsReview and /or develop process capability studies, measurement systems analysisCreate final production part approval documentation (PPAP)Formal documentation and presentation at stakeholder updatesInteraction with teamWork with many departments to ensure each new capital program is properly supported for every aspect of quality readiness. Including metallurgical testing, metrology equipment, CMM programming, validation results.Work environmentOffices are located inside of factory work settingEducation & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering required8-10 years experience requiredTechnical Skills (Required)Ability to facilitate and create all APQP elements including Process Flow, Control Plan and Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)ExcellPowerPointTeams(Desired)Prior automotive industry experienceSoft Skills(Required)Facilitate and host cross functional meetings in person and virtualManage priorities across multiple projects
