Investor Relations Associate

A leading generalist middle-market private equity firm in Washington, D.C., is looking to bring on a Investor Relations/Capital Formation individualto support the firm's investor relations and fundraising efforts. The firm has an elite track record of being active in the market having invested over $5 billon of capital. Additionally, this role would provide the opportunity for long-term growth within the firm as well as opportunity to get more heavily involved with client-facing activities over time.Key Responsibilities:Assist with raising funds and managing investor relationshipsWork closely with the investment team for smooth fundraising executionGain mentorship from senior leadership, accelerating professional growth.Onboard investors and manage related processes, including maintaining CRM systems, responding to investor information requests (RFPs), completing due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and organizing marketing materials.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.Banking background wanting to transition to a more investor relation position.Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong client-facing skills.
