Backend Golang Developer

This role requires a collaborative mindset, strong technical skills, and a passion for innovation and excellence.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain services using GoLang and other modern programming languages.Design and implement data structures using JSON and binary data formats.Work with both NoSQL and relational databases to manage and optimize data.Build cloud-native applications following 12-factor application principles.Deliver production-level software with attention to performance, scalability, and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and complete project deliverables.Apply agile development methodologies to ensure iterative and incremental progress.Communicate effectively through written and verbal channels, including visual presentations.Foster collaboration across internal and external teams to achieve project goals.QualificationsAt least 5 years' experience in a software engineering role.Expertise in GoLang and proficiency in working with JSON.Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and principles.Proven ability to deliver production-grade software and manage end-to-end projects.Familiarity with agile development, rapid application development, and project management.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Self-motivated, accountable, and committed to high standards of responsibility.PreferredExperience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools, and the ability to automate deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef/Puppet.Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub and experience in managing projects within these systems.Expertise in automated testing, performance tools, and agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.Understanding of software development within a DevOps culture.Additional DetailsThe base range for this contract position is $60 - $70/per hour, depending on experience.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
