We are currently looking for a Senior HR Specialist to join our team.Reporting to the Vice President of Benefits, this position supports the design, delivery, and ongoing facilitation of Human Resource (HR) programs, projects, and initiatives on behalf of the HR Team. The role serves as a key touchpoint for employee outreach and inquiries; manages processes and workflows related to the employee life cycle; and provides project/ program support to members of HR Leadership.Responsibilities include to track, report and distribute key data and metrics; administer assigned HR programs to the organization; and perform audit and/or quality reviews to ensure accuracy of data/ information collected and distributed by the HR Team. Keys to success in this position are the ability to communicate effectively with tact and discretion, exercise effective judgment and decision-making abilities, build strong productive relationships, and effectively prioritize and manage stakeholder requests.What you will do for Fay:Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefit questions and other related HR inquiries. Respond, refer, and/or escalate items as appropriateAudit and process daily and/or monthly health and welfare invoicesManage benefit processes and related workflows from onboarding through termination, including benefits administration, wellness, and select rewards programsTrack, report, and distribute key data and metrics; assist with the design of reporting and facilitation with the collection of data. Perform analysis and identify trends for review with leadershipPrepare, administer, and monitor employee surveys; research, identify, and collect information from other data sources for use in benchmarking exercises or qualitative program reviewPerform audit and/or quality reviews of HR transactions, data, and/or information collection for adherence and accuracy as instructed and outlined in department processes. Document and report on outcomesProvide support for HR projects and initiatives including scheduling meetings, data collection, researching information, preparing communications, and developing summaries, presentations, or other resources as requiredPrepare, reconcile,and track expenses; organize related reporting; manage invoices; submit expense reimbursements where appropriate. Summarize and chart data as requestedServe as a liaison with other departments and outside organizations including business leadership, vendors, and/or community organizationsAppropriately manage confidential and non-routine information; exercise strong judgment to ensure appropriate escalation and/or review; articulate and explain Fay policies and/or protocols as directedDevelop and document standard processes for routine activities, surface ideas and solutions for process improvementDevelop domain knowledge of Fay's business to include an understanding of short-term goals and long term goalsMaintain broad influence through ongoing development of relationships across the organizationEnsure compliance with Fay's policies, processes, and practicesRole model ethical standards, professionalism, and code of conductPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedWhat you will bring to Fay:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/ GED)4 + years' Human Resources experience; experience in employee benefits preferredPrevious experience working in a matrix environment preferredStrong project management skills & experienceStrong technical skills and demonstrated experience with MS Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with UKG HRIS platforms preferred; experience with Canva preferredStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of individuals both internal and external to the organizationStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organizationStrong organization and planning skills; ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize activitiesCollaborative work style; demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical skills; solid problem-solving abilities coupled with sound judgmentHigh learning agility; strong research and assessment skillsDemonstrated ability to quickly establish credibility, coupled with the ability to recognize and support individual preferences and prioritiesEffective at working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong attention to detail; strong compliance orientation; high quality of work productSelf-directed; comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertaintyHigh degree of professional maturity, integrity, and ability to maintain confidential data and informationHigh degree of business acumen; strong fiscal and technical aptitudeEquity and Inclusion are embedded into our way of working at Fay.
