If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to the success of a cutting-edge organization, we want to hear from you.About the Role As a Financial Operations Associate, you will join the Operations team and provide essential middle-office and post-trade support. You will be directly involved in critical activities, including trade reconciliations, operational risk control, and collaborating with technology teams to develop and enhance automated processes. Your work will support the organization's goal of achieving 100% straight-through processing and managing operational risk effectively.ResponsibilitiesPerform trade reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesDefine and implement operational risk controlsReconcile internal positions across multiple counterparties and asset classesManage exceptions related to admin positions, transactions, and cash reconciliationsOversee T+0 matching and settlements across various asset classes and marketsHandle mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, as well as post-trade event lifecyclesAnalyze the current operational platform to improve straight-through processing and identify efficienciesCollaborate with technology teams to automate processes and drive innovationTrack, resolve, and remediate operational incidentsRequirementsBA/BS degree in finance, economics, or a related field5+ years of operations experience in an investment management firm, fund administrator, or bankExperience in the full trade lifecycle and post-trade processing in equities and macro asset classesStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and insightsProficiency in Excel (experience with Tableau and Alteryx is a plus)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentBenefits:Fully paid medical and dental insurance premiums for employees and dependentsCompetitive 401k match and employer-paid life & disability insuranceOnsite gyms with laundry service, wellness activities, casual dress, snacks, and game roomsTuition reimbursement, conference, and training sponsorshipGenerous vacation and unlimited sick days, competitive paid caregiver leaveFlexible hybrid work model with a budget for home office setup
