We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst I to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing routine quality control testing of the MicroScan product line, ensuring adherence to predefined methods and quality standards. The Quality Control Analyst I will prepare final product quality reports, ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards, and coordinate daily testing activities within the QC group. This position will involve working closely with Manufacturing and Quality Assurance departments to meet testing cycle times and report key performance indicators.Job Posting: Quality Control Analyst IDuration 06+ months Contract Possibility of ExtensionLocation: West Sacramento CA 95691Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate daily testing needs to ensure timely completion of testing cycle.Report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab environment.Follow company guidelines, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and testing instructions during testing.Conduct minor troubleshooting and maintenance on testing equipment as necessary.Maintain an organized inventory of lab supplies.Handle and subculture microorganisms in the lab.Utilize analytical skills to address and resolve out-of-specification results.Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.Adhere to laboratory and manufacturing safety rules, including the proper use of PPE.Review and report test results, promptly escalating any issues or deviations.Properly dispose of chemical and biological hazardous wastes in accordance with company policy.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent) with 0+ years of experience in a related field.Experience: Previous experience working in a laboratory environment with a focus on quality control or quality assurance is preferred.Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to problem-solve and work independently.Knowledge of laboratory safety rules and proper handling of chemicals and biological materials.Additional Information:This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to start or grow their career in Quality Control.
