About Our Client: Addison Group is seeking an experienced HRIS & Payroll Specialist for our growth focused financial client who was awarded one of "best places to work" in Chicago! This role is perfect for someone who excels with creating reports, optimizing HRIS systems, experience with payroll auditing and providing support across HR operations.Job Title: HRIS and Payroll SpecialistLocation (city, state): Rosemont, ILIndustry: Financial InstitutionPay: $35-37/hrContract Length: Mid-January until JuneKey Responsibilities:Administer staff payroll in compliance with labor regulations and accounting standards using HRIS software.Develop protocols for accurate data collection, calculation, and payroll entry.Maintain and improve HRIS configurations to support HR, payroll, and benefits teams.Analyze workflows to identify improvements and leverage HRIS technology for better efficiency.Provide technical support, generate reports, and assist with requests from HR and other departments.Troubleshoot HRIS issues and collaborate with vendors on complex problems.Process payroll tasks for new hires, terminations, and employee status changes.Create and maintain HR dashboards and performance scorecards.Qualifications:Proven experience in payroll processing and HRIS systems: create and manager data, reports.UKG is preferred, MS Office proficiency and advanced in Excel (formulas, vlookups, pivot tables)Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.Additional Details:Full-time position with standard business hours.Hybrid work environment.Long term contractOpportunity to work with a dynamic team in a collaborative environment.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
