Site Quality Director (Aerospace/Fortune 500)

We are representing a globally recognized aerospace manufacturing based organization who is actively seeking a Site Quality Director to lead their flagship $800M campus. The Site Quality Director will report directly to the General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!POSITION OVERVIEWCandidate will report to the General Manager while leading a department of (7) Engineers.Complete financial/budgetary ownership of departmentCandidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality function while working cross functionally with different departmentsCandidate will work to train and develop (2) Quality Leaders.Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendorsDirect and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talentResponsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.POSITION REQUIREMENTSBachelors Degree is required for consideration (preference for technical field)Candidate should have strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100Candidate should have at least 5 years of Quality Management experience within highly regulated environmentExperience with Metals environment preferred
