Dev/ Research Engineer 2

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Dev/Research Engineer 2 in Griffin, GA. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $43/hr W2 + overtime pay, including full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, and 401K. Cullerton Group will provide H1B Sponsorship.Education & Experience Required:Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Equivalent Technology degreeAn Associates degree with more than 4 years of experience will be consideredNo Master's degree'sTechnical Skills(Required) Ability to troubleshoot & build harnessesUnderstand how sensors / actuators and other electronic components workExperience reading electrical schematics and harnessesExperience with engine electronic hardware validation or software development(Desired)Familiarity with Griffin Production ProcessesDemonstrated ability to resolve manufacturing process defectsHands on electrical experience; simple circuit repair, harness construction and re-work, dyno cell point to point troubleshooting.CANape experienceExperience with 6S CPI Green Belt Lead projectsGood communication (powerpoint, excel graphs, etc), interpersonal and collaboration skillsExperience with PSPS, CTC Rules, CAT ET, Cadet and CANapeExperience with datalinks: CDL, J1939 and ModbusExperience with Quality Tools: myCPI, PPRD, CAT-TOP, Warranty Watch ListSoft Skills(Required)Be able to communicate effectively with Factory workers, Engineers as well as ManagersDocument issues found in relevant tracking systemsBe able to identify and categorize electronic, design, harness, print issuesGood Organization skillsTime management and be able to prioritize between multiple priorities(Desired) Use excel graphs / powerpoint in presentations as required
