The ideal candidate will manage customer accounts and oversee collection activities to minimize financial risk and maximize cash flow. This role requires excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Collections Management:Proactively contact customers to resolve outstanding invoices and reduce delinquent accounts.Develop and implement strategies to recover past-due balances while maintaining positive customer relationships.Document collection efforts and update account information in the system.Reporting and Documentation:Prepare and present detailed reports on account statuses, aging schedules, and collection progress to management.Maintain accurate records of credit approvals, payment plans, and disputes.Customer Relations:Serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.Address and escalate payment disputes as necessary.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline credit and collections processes for greater efficiency.Recommend policy adjustments to improve cash flow and mitigate risk.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, collections, or accounts receivable.Proficiency in accounting software and tools; experience with NetSuite is a plus.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of credit reporting and analysis processes.Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.Experience with NetSuiteAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office setting, with flexibility for remote work after the initial training period.
