What You Will Be DoingAssisting the Executive Chef in menu development and food preparation. Supervising and mentoring kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality. Managing inventory and food cost controls. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Creating and maintaining a positive and productive kitchen environment. Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service. Maintaining high standards of food presentation and taste. What You Won't Be DoingHandling front-of-house operations or guest interactions directly. Managing marketing or non-kitchen-related restaurant strategies. Key ResponsibilitiesYou will assist in leading the kitchen team, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish served. Your responsibilities include maintaining inventory, supervising kitchen operations, training staff, and contributing to menu innovation. The role demands excellent leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for culinary excellence. Basic RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume, fine-dining, or upscale casual dining restaurant. Proven track record of managing a culinary team. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining composure. Culinary degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
