System Administrator

Title: System AdministratorLocation: Knoxville, TNTravel: On-SiteSummary: The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Azure, Intune, Hyper-V, and network management. The Sys Admin will ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of our IT infrastructure. You will play a critical role in deploying, managing, and maintaining cloud and on-premises systems while providing technical support to our organization.There is a huge opportunity for growth in this position. Both from a skills standpoint as well as professional.ResponsibilitiesDeploy, manage, and monitor cloud-based solutions within Microsoft Azure.Configure Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, Storage, and Networking.Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD) for identity and access management.Configure and manage mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) using Microsoft Intune.Enforce security policies for endpoint devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android).Maintain and monitor Hyper-V environments, including virtual machines, clusters, and storage configurations.Perform regular backups, disaster recovery tests, and system updates.Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.Manage and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP issues.Provide Level 2/3 support for IT incidents and requests.Perform system upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.Hands-on experience with Azure, Intune, Hyper-V, and enterprise network management.Ability and drive to be a self-starter. Someone who seeks out projects instead of being given a priority list.Experience and ability to work in smaller IT groups (below 20 members)
