Strategic Sourcing Manager Location: New York, NY 10112Duration: 3-6 months (Potential for extension)Pay: $55/hr.An ideal fit for this role is someone who is very data driven and analytical, as well as a people person, vast experience with negotiating contracts and presenting in front of leadership.Team Overview: Join a collaborative and positive team within the Corporate Sourcing division. The team operates in the heart of New York City, fostering an environment that values teamwork and effective communication. This strategic sourcing manager will be responsible for leading the sourcing activities for projects across the Selling General and Administrative (SG&A) category. These services will include, but are not limited to, Financial Services, Professional Services and HR related services.Position Overview: The Contract Negotiation & Sourcing Specialist will primarily focus on managing relationships and handling contract negotiations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a hands-on role that involves reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and drafting contracts. You will work across multiple entities and be responsible for managing 20-30 contracts at a time, ensuring customer-focused outcomes while maintaining a sharp focus on procurement and commercial deal-making.Key Responsibilities:Negotiate, draft, review, and redline contracts, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals.Work closely with vendors and internal teams to navigate complex commercial procurement deals.Negotiate and implement deals that maximize cost savings, improve service levels, mitigate contractual risks, and creates/improves overall value for the category areas mentioned above.Manage RFx process utilizing sourcing best practices.Negotiate contracts with a focus on commercial termsManage 20-30 active contracts or deals concurrently across multiple business segments.Provide financial analysis and insights to support contract negotiations.Ensure contracts are strategically aligned with the company's goals and business objectives.Work with internal teams and stakeholders to gather necessary inputs and feedback for contract terms.Basic Requirements:Minimum 5 years procurement experience in a sophisticated sourcing environment.Bachelor's Degree in Business , law or related field..Must be willing to work in New York, NY; generally contributing from the office a minimum of 3 days per week.Strong proficiency in all stages of the sourcing life cycle (from market analysis to procure to pay), especially the negotiation of contractual agreements.Cost Modeling: Ability to understand cost drivers and how to break down cost structures
