What's the job?The IT CRM Senior Business and Technology Architect will be responsible for leading the design and configuration of Information Technology and development initiatives, while providing industry best practices in technologies and related domains.This role demands a comprehensive understanding of high-tech innovation and advanced technologies, including managed package deployments and configurations across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and bi-directional integrations with SAP. The Architect will manage all vendor relationships to support the implementation and optimization of Salesforce Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud solutions and will serve as the primary liaison between the CRM team and other supporting technologies at CertainTeed.Additionally, this position will oversee support for all business units within CertainTeed, ensuring alignment with stakeholders as CRM projects are initiated and executed. The Architect will play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration across teams to achieve business objectives and drive technological innovation.What will you do?Lead Salesforce configuration initiatives for projects and incidents, working independently or collaboratively with peers across Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to develop strategic roadmaps for transitioning processes from Process Builders to Flows in existing Salesforce environments.Drive business performance improvements by leveraging enterprise solutions and capabilities, including Salesforce Lightning Connect, Salesforce Marketing Connect, custom metadata management, and ERP data integration.Oversee and support team members in configuration activities, encompassing data modeling, data transformation, and the development of Salesforce reports and dashboards within the Lightning framework.Provide comprehensive oversight of incidents and recommend optimization strategies across all business units to enhance system performance and efficiency.What do you bring?A bachelor's degree or relevant experience in the required field; a master's degree is preferred.A minimum of 8 years of experience in information technology, with extensive expertise in development and configuration activities on the platform.Salesforce Certified Administrator and Platform App Builder (Lightning) certifications are mandatory.Familiarity with industry trends is highly desirable.Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.Previous experience in the Manufacturing or Building Materials industry is an advantage.Strong ability to communicate complex analyses in a clear and precise manner is essential.Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud within the Lightning framework is required.Technical proficiency in architecture and advanced working knowledge of Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud, including IP warming, email campaign configuration, sender authentication package, domain management, and Sales and Service Cloud integration with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle ERP.Proven experience in integrating Salesforce with internal portals and external systems.Strong team-building skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to "think outside the box."Capability to develop collaborative relationships with peers and cross-functional teams, with the ability to explain technical concepts effectively to non-technical business stakeholders.In-depth expertise in Salesforce configuration concepts and the ability to devise solutions as needed.Proficiency in requirements elicitation, solution design, development, and deployment of change sets.Experience in configuring Sales and Service Consoles within the Lightning framework is essential.
