Landlord Tenant Paralegal

Landlord Tenant Paralegal - Queens, NYLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Landlord Tenant Paralegal to work full-time in a firm. The ideal Candidate will have at least 1 solid year of experience in a similar role. The candidate will be responsible for record review, and all aspects of the landlord tenant legal process, including but not limited to supporting attorneys as needed with case management and ad hoc duties. Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requestsAssist with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files and documentsPrepare and file court documents and correspondence with clients and opposing counselSupport attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trialPerform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondenceQualificationsFour college degree preferred - Bachelor's degreeAt least 1 full year of experience, preferably in landlord tenant lawStrong communication, organizational, and client service skillsAbility to manage multiple projects with minimal supervisionProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management databases (Yardi is a plus)Excellent Written and Oral skills and must be an effective communicatorProficiency in legal research databases and litigation support softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBenefitsThis posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients.
