VP - Private Equity (Investment Professional)

Meraki Talent is working with a US based mid-market Private Equity firm who are looking to recruit a Vice President for their offices in LA & NYC. The firm has grown consistently for over 10 years, with ~$1.5bn AUM. They invest across a range of services businesses, typically targeting companies with $15m-25m EBITDA.They're currently raising their 4th fund, which is scheduled to close this month at $600m & are looking to add a VP to their investment team to help deploy these funds.Job Description:The Vice President will play a pivotal role in the firm, leading the end-to-end investment process and serving as a key point of contact for stakeholders both internally and externally. This includes identifying and evaluating potential investments, managing due diligence efforts, and executing transactions. They will also oversee portfolio company performance, supporting growth and exit strategies.Experience:The client is prioritizing individuals with at least six years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or consulting, with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring. A bachelor's degree is required. An MBA is not required. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate has:A strong background in Private Equity as well as 2+ years in Investment BankingIdeally, have a strong educational background, including professional qualifications or equivalent
