North Square Investments is a fast-growing multi-boutique asset management firm based in Chicago. We are dedicated to delivering differentiated active investment strategies to the market. We're looking for outstanding investment sales professionals to join our expanding internal wholesaling team. The responsibilities of an Internal Wholesaler are to effectively develop advisor relationships and achieve sales goals through a systematic process of outbound sales calls, emails, product presentation and general sales support. Based on the experience of the candidate, there may be the opportunity to manage a hybrid sales territory in addition to performing wholesaler duties.Position SummaryThe Internal Wholesaler partners with the External Wholesaler to develop the territories they support through sales and marketing efforts with the intention of exceeding sales goals as well as increasing the North Square footprint. A successful Internal Wholesaler possesses strong product knowledge and consultative sales skills, the ability to identify new sales opportunities and to manage those opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and cultivate new business opportunities, follow up on pipeline, and set appointmentsDrive attendance to various External Wholesaler meetings, conferences, webinars/firm eventsSchedule meetings for the External Wholesaler with prospects, existing clients, and centers of influenceHelp build and manage the territory calendar, rotation, and list of focus advisors/firmsIf managing a hybrid territory, the candidate will be responsible for all activities and sales within that region.Document all daily activities, such as calls, emails, follow up activity in SalesforceDevelop exceptional product knowledge and positioning of North Square's product suiteConstantly improve knowledge of the economy and financial marketsMaintain a client-centric approach: Assist with and resolve client service issuesBE A GREAT TEAMMATE - promote a culture of team first and uphold our energetic team moraleKnowledge/skills:Solid technical understanding of capital markets, modern portfolio theory, and other investment philosophiesDemonstrated advisor development and sales successStrong sales, service, and interpersonal skillsAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsStrong presentation skills and experience with public speakingOrganizational and interpersonal skillsSelf-starter with leadership qualities and ability to work in a team environmentExperience with Salesforce, Morningstar, Opportunity Hunter and Discovery DataRequirementsCollege Degree, preferably business, economics, finance, sales, or marketing2-5 years industry experienceSeries 7 and 66 licensed preferredPosition is based in Chicago
