AI Governance Lead / AI Governance / AI Strategy / Responsible AI / AI Act / GDPR / Machine Learning / New York / HybridPermanent Position - HybridCompensation - $115 - $155 (Base)Excellent BenefitsI am working with a Start up with offices in both New York and Boston, they are seeking an experienced and visionary AI Governance Lead to shape and oversee their AI governance framework and strategy.If successful you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the AI systems are ethical, compliant, and aligned with organizational values and regulatory requirements.AI Governance Lead Specification:Develop and implement robust AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, IT, and data science, to ensure ethical AI practices.Monitor compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).Conduct regular audits and risk assessments of AI systems to mitigate bias, data misuse, and other ethical concerns.Drive awareness and training initiatives on AI ethics and governance across the organization.Represent the organization in external AI governance forums and maintain relationships with regulators and industry bodies.A strong background in AI ethics, governance, or a related field.Proven experience in designing and implementing governance frameworks in a technology-driven environment.Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, their applications, and associated risks.Familiarity with global AI regulatory landscapes and frameworks.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Advanced degree in computer science, law, data ethics, or a related discipline.If you have the desired skills and experience and are either an AI Governance Lead or looking to step into this role from the relevant background, then please send me your resume and I will arrange a call.AI Governance Lead / AI Governance / AI Strategy / Responsible AI / AI Act / GDPR / Machine Learning / New York / Hybrid
