OVERVIEW Gold State Music (GSM) is a private investment firm focused on investing in the music sector. Our funds are focused primarily on investing in music rights (music publishing and recorded music rights) as well as in enterprises in need of growth and expansion capital.GSM was founded in 2022 by Charles Goldstuck, and currently has offices in West Palm Beach, FL, New York, NY and Lake Nona, FL (Orlando). Our funds are expected to deploy a total of $750 million through the first fund cycle. We have an experienced team comprised of industry professionals who are deeply rooted in the music ecosystem.OPPORTUNITY Position: Personal Assistant Location: West Palm Beach, FLPosition DescriptionThe Personal Assistant works in the West Palm Beach office and reports to the Managing Partner, Charles Goldstuck. The Personal Assistant will use independent judgement and knowledge of executive support to plan, prioritize, and organize a broad-based workload. The Personal Assistant responsibilities include:Provide overall administrative support for a high-level executive including but not limited to phone support, maintaining busy calendar and day-to-day meetingsInteract with a wide variety of external business contacts on behalf of the executiveManage travel and entertainment arrangements (flight, hotel, car, business meetings and business entertainment) and related expense managementSeamlessly coordinate/confirm all calendar matters, including internal and external meetingsPrepare confidential correspondence, reports and other documentsAct as the lead on special request and projects, company matters, and event planning Manage the daily operations of the West Palm Beach office to maintain a high functioning officeLiaising with employees, vendors, and partners in implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systemsMaintaining proper office supply levels and maintenance on equipmentRequirements Ideal qualifications include: 2 - 4 years' experience providing administrative supportHigh level of demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills and resourcefulness is a necessityUnderstand and intuitively anticipate needs and demands for this key executive support roleHighly organized and disciplinedAbility to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines in a calm mannerUphold a strict level of confidentialityAbility to function in a demanding environment with competing and changing prioritiesSelf-motivatedExcellent communication skillsAdvanced computer skills in MAC and Microsoft Office productsUndergraduate degree preferredExperience in the music/entertainment industry as an executive assistant is helpfulSome travel is requiredCompensationCompensation will be competitive with the market and will consist of a base salary and discretionary year-end bonus.
