TRD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Contract) to join our team in the Human Resources Department.The primary responsibility of this role is to is lead full-cycle recruitment of world-class software and technology, and engineering talent for TRD's groups. At times this role may also recruit for other hard-to-fill/niche roles at Toyota.The person in this role will support the Human Resources department's objective to develop hiring strategies in niche markets while partnering with supported business groups for long-term candidate attraction strategies. This position will be on-site in Costa Mesa, CA. What You'll Be DoingPartner with leaders to design a tailored recruiting strategy, as well as finding the niche talent within a limited talent pool.Sourcing diverse talent through multiple creative channels (i.e. via LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Google Scholar, Stack Overflow, etc. and via industry conferences and university partnerships).Ability and understanding to screen software talent (e.g. spend the time to understand the technology stack while identifying techniques to validate candidate abilities).Responsible for drafting job descriptions and postings to ensure quality and legal standards are met in the candidate attraction.Manage candidate selection process in Workday recruit.Conducting initial phone or video screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.Organizing and coordinating in-person or virtual interviews with hiring managers.Evaluating candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience.Working closely with hiring managers to understand the job requirements, team dynamics, and company culture.Facilitate discussions hiring managers, encouraging alignment on the selection criteria and ensuring the final decision is based on the most relevant factors.Extending job offers to selected candidates.Negotiating salary and benefits packages within company guidelines.Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or higher) or equivalent professional work experience.Demonstrated experience recruiting for Technology, Software, and other hard-to-fill engineering and/or niche roles (i.e. IT, Engineering, R&D, Data Science).Solid experience sourcing diverse talent through multiple creative channels (i.e. via LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Google Scholar, Stack Overflow, Boolean search strings, etc., and via industry conferences and university partnerships).Partnering with varied business leaders to design a tailored recruiting strategy, as well as finding the niche talent within a limited talent pool, thus creating, and building a pipeline of diverse talent, including active and passive candidates.Experience handling and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships in a fast-paced environment.Hands-on experience leveraging HCM and ATS systems (i.e. Workday)Strong relationship management skills with the ability to understand the business and needs while consulting, influencing, and fostering deep working relationships with hiring managers and driving equal process ownership for building, growing, and sustaining talent.
