Senior Account Executive - Public Relations

BLND is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Account Executive to join our public relations team to lead a variety of interesting client accounts.As a Senior Account Executive, you'll lead 5-6 high priority accounts in all areas of public relations, acting as a resource for both clients and the team. You'll bring your passion for media and communications to the table, creating exciting and newsworthy campaigns for our clients.Senior Account Executive ResponsibilitiesManage client relationships and build long-term partnerships with key client groupsProvide senior leadership to Account Executives/CoordinatorsLead client accounts, operating as primary point of contact and strategy leadMedia pitching to a variety of their close contactsExecute and keeps track of client PR campaigns and projectsTake ownership of storytelling with new and creative ideas, driving the editorial strategy with content pitches, press alerts and new campaigns in a range of media, developing PR plans for clients on an ongoing basisProvide feedback and dialogue with existing clients, and evaluate success of current and past projectsMonitor the industry and external climate to advise on public relations strategy and positioningLead development of press materials including press releases, executive bios and moreReview, polish and present client presentations and wrap up reports Requirements:Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, communications or related field3-4 years of experience in the public relations, journalism or marketing industriesStrong client relation experienceAdvanced understanding of the media industry and brand communications strategies for B2C and B2B companiesEnergy, and enthusiasm for public relations, with a deep understanding of the media landscapeExcellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail, able to shift tone and messaging depending on the clientAdaptability, and willingness to pivot with changing timelines and priorities as necessaryAbility to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects under strict deadlinesThings That Will Make You Stand Out:Experience using Muck Rack, Qwoted, and/or other public relations tools and softwarePhotography and editing experienceExperience using graphic design tools such as Photoshop or InDesignWhy BLND?We are a boutique, bicoastal communications agency for lifestyle, beauty, and wellness brands.
