The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing complex mechanical systems, such as high resolution x-ray microscopes and high throughput semiconductor equipment. This role is reserved for a highly experienced engineer who has worked on complex equipment (e.g., 1000+ parts or more assemblies from scratch). QualificationsComfortable with prototype design from a blank canvas5+ years' Experience building complex mechanical assemblies, such as semiconductor equipment or a synchrotron beamlines Experience with SolidworksAbility to interact with physicist collaborators to define requirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldSalaryCommensurate with relevant experienceStock options are also offered as part of the package and are of significant value
