Infrastructure Specialist (Nutanix/VMware)

This will be onsite 5 days per week in Upper West Side NYC - West End and 65thWe are seeking a Nutanix Administrator to provide core support for Nutanix servers, Hyper-V, and VMware. This role focuses on Nutanix and virtualization expertise.Key Responsibilities:Administer Nutanix clusters and related infrastructure.Manage Hyper-V and VMware environments, including design and implementation.Handle server and workstation operating systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and patch management.Manage Windows Active Directory, including backups, recovery, and Group Policy configuration.Work with storage systems, including RAID configuration, snapshots, and thin provisioning.Perform system performance monitoring and optimization.Provide disaster recovery, backup, and restore capabilities for systems and applications.Offer on-site, off-hour support for infrastructure issues and occasional travel to company locations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in system administration and infrastructure management.Proficiency in Nutanix, VMware vSphere, and Hyper-V environments.Strong knowledge of Active Directory, networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, firewalls), and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).Experience with monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting infrastructure.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.Note: This position requires on-site work five days a week and the ability to lift/transport server equipment as needed.
