Partners Personnel is currently assisting our client in finding candidates for their Sales Manager opening. Our client is located in Kennesaw GA. and this position is being offered as a direct hire/permanent placement for the selected candidate. Our client is privately owned and operated fabrication company started 30+ years ago and their production is a product and service that is very niche and unique. Candidates that have past experience in construction or engineering Sales would be given strong preference in consideration. Management and being the 'driver' in success within a group/team is required. Some territory travel will be involved and outside of that, you will be in office. Supervisory Functions: Hires and trains account managers and staff. Organizes and oversees sales funnel, accounts, territories, and performance. Collaborate with marketing to develop strategies for reaching sales targets. Stay up to date on market trends, competition, and industry developments. Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company. Collaborate with Operations and Production to help with forecasting and proactively addressing problems. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Maximize business opportunities with new and existing clients by building and maintaining client relationships. Organize, update, and maintain customer base accounts in CRM as needed. Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads Assist the Finance department as needed with collecting deposits and final payments.Responsibilities:Provides leadership, and motivation, and encourages the sales team to ensure quotas are met Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.Assigns territories and sets quotas for sales teams.Provide support in marketing efforts, including establishing goals, planning, and oversight.Work with President to establish revenue and profit objectives for new business development.Report on sales activities (quotes, orders, etc.) and send out Daily/Weekly/Monthly Sales Reports.Provide support for sales and marketing events and exhibitions as required; attend as required.Close new business deals by coordinating requirements of the customer vs USI, developing, and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.Ensure all correct information is on OA (email, address, attn, PO/job number).Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet them.Resolves customer complaints or disputes, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with sales.Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.Qualifications:Preference for experience in construction or similar sales Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareOur client will have preference for consideration for those with good tenure history, experience in developing a highly performing, cohesive groups, being professionally engaging and the ability work across multiple departments with a broad range of individuals.
