Software Controls Engineer

Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a Software Controls Engineer to assist one of our large automotive clients. This position is hybrid onsite and will be responsible supporting manufacturing (VO & PMTE) leveraging advanced technologies, supporting MTDC initiatives, delivering key capabilities as required, primarily in the controls software development space. Interface with the manufacturing operations to understand their technical challenges and opportunities. Teach/mentor less experienced individuals and assist with technical solution documentation. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated with an ambition to continuously grow and seeking new experiences. Required Skills & Experience5-8 years experience of Software Controls development Direct experience with manufacturing controls at the plant floor end of the system Working experience of version control, working with Git, Agile Scrum Working knowledge of Siemens Coding Language (SCL) Experience with PLC Bachelors Degree in related fieldNice to Have Skills & ExperienceKnowledge of Mfg 4.0 Web application code development experienceCompensation:$45/hr to $50/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
