Funds Transfer Administrator

CONTRACT TO HIRE ROLEHYBRID POSITION in NEW YORK, NYJob DescriptionInput, verify, and release incoming and outgoing domestic and international payments and book transfers in accordance with policies and procedures.Perform funds approval function prior to completing payments.Monitor payment processing functions inclusive of repair, approval, messaging, NFS, fraud, risk and investigations.Ensure Compliance regulations are being met.Handle any previous day transactions that have been returned.Perform research related to wire transfer investigations as requested by customers and business units.Provide exceptional customer service within departments of the Bank.Report any system or operational problems to the First Vice President.Perform end-of-day system maintenance and balancing.Perform Disaster Recovery duties as assigned.Additional duties as assigned.Reports directly to the Operations Manager.Qualifications4+ years of Funds Transfer experience with strong knowledge of Fedwire, Chips and SwiftAbility to work under strict deadlines.Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Adequate knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Spanish speaking is a plus.
