M&A Private Equity Associate

We are seeking a highly qualified mid-level or senior associate with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join our Private Equity Group in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated private equity matters in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate within teams and independently manage components of private equity transactions.Handle a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including:Mergers and acquisitionsLeveraged recapitalizationsGrowth equity and venture capital transactionsExit strategiesEquity compensation mattersProactively manage internal and external client relationships and coordinate with opposing counsel.Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in private equity or transactional law.Proven ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.Strong business acumen and the ability to provide pragmatic, strategic legal advice.Stellar communication skills and a track record of effectively managing relationships.Outstanding academic credentials and comparable experience at a top-tier law firm.Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.A deal sheet highlighting relevant experience is required.Desired Attributes:A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.Ability to manage complex transactions with minimal supervision.Strong analytical and organizational skills.If you are interested in this position, and you meet the requirements of the role, please click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
