A nonprofit education network in New York City is currently seeking a Spanish-speaking Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join their growing team.About the Opportunity:Schedule: 4 Days a weekHours: 8:30am to 4pm (7.5 hours per day; 30 minute lunch)Student Population: Special Education paired with visually impaired Responsibilities:Evaluate students' learning, development, and adjustment needsCollaborate: Work with other professionals to support studentsProvide individual and group counseling as per IEPsCreate and implement Individual Educational PlansDesign and implement behavior modification strategiesIncorporate various strategies into student programKeep parents informed and assist with skill developmentPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Graduate of an accredited NYS Social Work program NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)Bilingual (English and Spanish)
