Equity Long/Short Energy Portfolio ManagerNew York, NYAbout the Client:Our client is a global hedge fund with more than $6bn in assets.Founded more than 20 years ago they have a prominence within the Fixed Income space and they are now looking to build out their Equity Long/Short coverage teams by hiring a Energy focused PM to be based out of their New York, NY office location.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute investment strategies within the Energy sector.Conduct in-depth research and analysis of companies and market trends.Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Collaborate with analysts and other team members to generate investment ideas.Monitor and adjust portfolio positions to maximize returns.Qualifications:Proven track record as an Equity L/S Portfolio Manager.Deep knowledge of the Energy sector, including renewables, energy, power, and Oil & Gas.Demonstrated ability to achieve a Sharpe ratio of 1% or higher.Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment.Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
