Job Title: Continuous Improvement Process Engineer LeadLocation: Charlotte, NC (4 days in office, 1 day remote)18+ months contract W2 onlyUnable to work C2CUnable to provide work sponsorship Summary:We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Process Engineer Lead to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing process-oriented solutions and ensuring effective change management and adoption across the organization. The successful candidate will work at both tactical and strategic levels to manage optimization projects and develop processes that enhance operational effectiveness and continual improvement.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Process Ownership: Manage process models and procedures, monitor KPIs, and identify bottlenecks.Opportunity Identification: Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities and deliver solutions.Lead sessions to set direction and create change.Design and implement process-oriented solutions.Provide oversight and ensure quality of junior teammates' tasks.Enable cross-functional alignment and resolve risks.Train and support production groups.Benefit Realization: Measure and monitor ROI of process improvement projects.Relationship Building: Facilitate and build relationships to ensure initiative success.Regulatory Reporting: Provide reporting to communicate with regulatory bodies and audit teams.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Math, Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Project Management.Experience: Two or more years as a Process Engineer, leading cross-functional teams.Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or pursuing), with multiple completed projects.Experience in IT improvement projects and infrastructure lifecycle management.Experience in banking, financial services, or other services industry (Fortune 500 preferred).Skills:Strong analytical skills and ability to drive business decisions.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills.Understanding of program and project management disciplines (Agile, Waterfall). PMP or Agile certifications preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong negotiating, conflict management, and consulting skills.Business Process Management (BPM) experience, including process mapping and documenting process risk and controls.Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and digital dashboards (Tableau, Power BI).
