Senior Payroll SpecialistManhattan, Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH)$75,000-90,000Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage the payroll function for a family ran real estate organization. This role requires a deep understanding of payroll processing, tax compliance, union payroll, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing payroll for 300+ employees, including handling payroll taxes, LOA (Leave of Absence), and reporting. Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) is essential to streamline reporting processes. If you are a detail-oriented payroll expert with a strong background in complex payroll systems, we would love to speak with you!Key Responsibilities:Process payroll for 300+ employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for all pay periods.Manage payroll tax filings, deductions, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.Handle union payroll processing and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.Administer payroll-related processes for Leave of Absence (LOA) and employee benefits.Produce and analyze payroll reports, ensuring data accuracy and resolving discrepancies as needed.Maintain payroll records, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with all applicable laws.Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues and ensure smooth payroll operations.Utilize Excel to prepare and manage complex reports, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, for various payroll analyses.Requirements:5+ years of experience in payroll processing in ADP Workforce Now, handling payroll for 300+ employees.Extensive experience with payroll tax compliance, union payroll, and benefits administration.Strong proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced level), including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex reporting.Knowledge of Leave of Absence (LOA) policies and procedures.Experience with payroll systems and related software.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Preferred: Experience in real estate, hospitality, or insurance industries.Why Join:This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in a well-established company located in Manhattan.
