Looking for an exciting project to start the new year? Perhaps consider this Program Analyst consultant position with an Investment Management firm in New York.This firm oversees $50 billion in AUM, and oversees assets on behalf of more than 2,000 institutional clients and private investors worldwide. Their technical staff is known to be increasingly progressive, and is focused on improving its user community through technology. The team you'd be joining is responsible for building and supporting proprietary and vendor-based applications.Individually speaking, you'd be joining this firms corporate IT accounting team, leveraging your business analyst experience and demonstrated SQL skills to manage the delivery of technological solutions for key stakeholders. You'll be the one who drives and manages the successful execution of key projects across the wider team. Technologically speaking, you'll do lots of designing, developing, and maintaining of SQL databases, along with optimizing the databases overall performance in close collaboration with the application team. Another element of the role will have you developing ETL processes to integrate data from various sources and ultimately creating dashboards using Power BI and SSRS reports that you'll share with the stakeholders. This isn't a role that'll require you to have equal skills to a SQL developer or a database administrator, but having these technical skills will be important as you'll work so closely with the application team. Bonus points if you've worked with Infor or Lawson financials as an FYI.In a nutshell, you'll be gathering business requirements from stakeholders, analyzing processes and identifying areas for improvement all the while collaborating with the technology team as bridge between business and technology to ensure success.This role will be hybrid 3x per week in New York City, Midtown to be specific. It's an initial 6 month contract role that could pay up to $85 per hour.No up-to-date resume required
