Learning And Development Specialist

NYC banking organization seeks a Learning and Development Specialist specialized in sales-focused education. This role will support senior leadership in designing and executing training and talent development programs primarily for the sales team.Hybrid, 4 days onsite, 1 remoteHours: 8:30am - 5pmSalary: $80-100K baseResponsibilities:Partner with senior leadership to plan and execute training and development projects, ensuring timely and effective deliveryConduct ongoing needs assessments and recommend learning solutionsDesign interactive training solutions to meet objectives and improve employee performanceOversee logistics and training plans for in-person, online and eLearning trainingSupport succession planning efforts and contribute to employee engagement through internal communicationsDevelop and distribute employee training calendar and training-related contentMaintain and create training materialsCreate feedback tools such as surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of training programsCollaborate with stakeholders to tailor learning experiences for different teams and business unitsProvide project management support, including tracking milestones and reporting progressEngage with employees to assess training needs and gather feedback for continuous improvementMaintain knowledge of instructional design best practices and innovations, reviewing and liaising with stakeholders on needsRequirements:Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, ideally with a background in finance or banking and experience with sales trainingsExperience using online course tools and managing an LMSExperience with senior leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagementEffective presentation and facilitation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with different audiences and deliver clear messagingSuperb time management skills in a fast-paced environment
