Fabric and Trim Assistant

The Fabric and Trim Assistant supports the Fabric and Trim Coordinator on all stages of the product development process for our underwear and loungewear business. They will assist in sorting out submits, evaluating submits for visual and hand feel needs, and communicating findings daily. We're seeking someone who is proactive and able to maintain strong organizational skills. This is an opportunity to work with notable national brands in the apparel industry!Responsibilities:Assist Associate Fabric and Trim Coordinator in daily assessment of all submitsPunch all submits and record weightsAdmin submit sample requests from lab dips to TOPAssess fabric and trims against standardsRetrieve all history on any given style via Airtable and storage as neededCommunicate via Airtable with vendors for all submit comments in relation to color, quality layout, and execution of all fabrics and trimsMaintain Standards library and file submits weeklyCreate fabric codes and update date fabric development chartQualifications:Strong sense of organizationProficient in Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of fabric qualitiesStrong color understandingPLM experience a plusAirtable experience a plusMust work well with a team in a very fast paced and high-volume atmosphereSalary range: $50,000 - $55,000 annuallyThe disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package.
