A leading company in the land development industry is seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee and optimize key business functions. The ideal candidate is a results-driven, bilingual professional with expertise in sales, marketing, customer service, and real estate transaction management. Working cross-functionally, the new leader will drive operational success by streamlining processes, fostering a high-performance culture, and enhancing team efficiency while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and contributing to business growth.Salary: $120,000-$150,000Location: Dallas, TXType of PositionDirect HireResponsibilities:Sales Team ManagementOversee the performance of the sales team, ensuring individual representatives achieve their sales targets.Recruit, train, and, when necessary, terminate sales personnel to maintain a high-performing team.Marketing OversightDevelop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, including paid and organic digital campaigns.Manage video and photography content for land sales promotion.Supervise call center employees (internal or external) tasked with appointment setting.Coordinate offline and referral marketing efforts to drive customer engagement.Leverage technology to optimize marketing and customer outreach efforts.Customer Service LeadershipOversee customer payment processing, issue resolution, foreclosures, deeds in lieu (DIL), property taxes, and note management.Ensure timely customer notifications and communications.Recruit, train, and manage customer service representatives, fostering a culture of customer satisfaction.Transaction and Closing ManagementSupervise in-office land sale closings, including deposit processing and sale agreement finalization.Ensure compliance with RMLO systems and proper handling of notes, deeds, and deeds of trust (DOT)Requirements:Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse customer baseOperational Expertise: Proven experience in operations management, overseeing sales, marketing, customer service, and transaction processesLeadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and lead high-performing teams, including sales representatives, marketing personnel, and customer service staffTechnical Aptitude: Proficiency with software tools and technology to streamline operations, manage customer data, and execute marketing strategiesReal Estate Knowledge: Familiarity with real estate transaction processes, including RMLO systems, property taxes, foreclosures, deeds in lieu (DIL), and deeds of trust (DOT)Performance-Driven: Strong track record of meeting and exceeding operational and financial performance goalsProblem-Solving Skills: Ability to address challenges proactively and implement effective solutionsCore Values:Accountability: A self-starter who is dependable, performance-driven, and takes ownership while keeping the big picture in mindCommunication: Skilled in clear and effective reporting to leadership and team communication with direct reportsProblem Solving: Sees challenges as opportunities and approaches them with a solution-oriented mindsetTech Savvy: Comfortable with generating reports, managing marketing efforts, and leveraging technology for operational efficiencyDetail Oriented: Focused on accuracy and precision in all aspects of workPreferred qualifications include:Experience in land development or real estate industriesFamiliarity with CRM systems and tools for managing customer relationshipsTrack record of successfully managing call center operations, including appointment setting and customer outreachExperience with digital marketing platforms, including paid advertising and organic growth strategiesStrong network within the land development or real estate communityDue to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
