Job Title:Staff Project EngineerEmployment Type:Full Time- Contract to HireLocation:Akron, OHCompensation:$30-$38 an hourJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Project Engineer to lead and manage complex engineering projects from concept through completion. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management experience to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets while managing risks and resources effectively.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to drive project success.Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned projects, addressing technical challenges and providing innovative solutions.Lead multiple concurrent projects including overhead transmission and substation projects ranging from 34.5kV to 500kVConduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and risk assessments to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.Prepare and present project status reports, timelines, and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.Identify and implement process improvements to optimize project efficiency and outcomes.Mentor junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and technical skills development.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
